Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Solar Installation Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar power systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar panel installation and basic electrical knowledge, along with the ability to manage and maintain project-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels, inverters, and related equipment on residential and commercial sites
- Perform site assessments and ensure proper system layout
- Handle wiring, mounting structures, and system connections
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of solar systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers
- Manage project documentation, including:
- Installation reports
- Site checklists
- Client documentation
- Maintenance records
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper condition
- Provide basic client support and guidance post-installation
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and installation techniques
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to read technical drawings and layouts
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Team player with good communication skills
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
- Certification in Solar Installation (preferred but not mandatory)
Salary:
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience)
